Vladimir Kirasirov

Vladimir Kirasirov began studying music at the age of four. From 2002 to 2006, he attended the St. Petersburg Music Lyceum “Kikiny Palaty”, studying under Anna Ali. He then entered the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory, graduating in 2011, bypassing music college entirely. He continued his studies abroad, earning a Master of Music degree at the Maastricht Conservatory (Netherlands) in the class of Maestro Carlo Marchione.

 

Vladimir is a versatile guitarist, composer, arranger, bandleader, and instructor. He has received numerous accolades, including:

 

  • Winner, Golden Key Music Festival (New York, USA, 2018)

  • Laureate, International Guitar Competition (Omiš, Croatia)

  • First Prize, Lanote Jazz Competition, Classical Guitar in Jazz category, and Best Original Composition award

 

 

He regularly performs in solo programs, duos, and ensembles, collaborating with artists across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Croatia, Ukraine, Armenia, Slovenia, Russia, Turkey, and India.

 

Vladimir is the author of the chamber musical “Dorothea” (libretto and lyrics by Sasha Vetrova) and performs in a duo with Evgenia Markova (domra), presenting a repertoire that spans classical, Baroque, folk, and original compositions. He is also the founder of the Continuo Orchestra, a member of the Continuum Quintet, and serves as Musical Director of the Andrei Petrov Foundation. Additionally, he appears as a guest soloist with the St. Petersburg State Russian Concert Orchestra under the direction of Vladimir Popov.
